Zoya Sophisticates Collection Review and Swatches

Who’s ready for fall? Me, me, me, me, me!!! I am SO ready for summer to be over. Bring on the cooler temps, layered clothing, PSLs and Halloween goodness! If you’re a fall-girl like me, you’ve probably been waiting the fall beauty releases. Well good news – the fall nail polish collection from Zoya is here! There are twelve cruelty free, vegan nail polish shades that I have swatched for you today.

Zoya Sophisticates Collection Swatches and Review

Top row (left to right):

McKenna is a light, cool almond with a pearl finish.

Presley is a smoky lavender/mauve with a cream finish. This is one of my favorites. Subtle but pretty!

Beth is a sandy champagne metallic. It’s pretty but not very exciting on my skin tone.

Bottom row (left to right):

Joni is a muted, smoky plum with cream finish. Really pretty for everyday – an office-friendly purple.

Hera is my absolute favorite of the bunch. It’s a “muted red mauve cream”. I’m not sure if I’d call this warm or cool. What do you think? I thought it was more of a cool pink, but then it meshes with my yellow undertones nicely. Neutral perhaps?

Padma is basically a darker version of Hera. It’s a plum cream with a deep red tone.

Top row (left to right):

Yvonne is a gorgeous red bordeaux cream. When I think fall, this is exactly the type of deep red that comes to mind!

Mona is a darker, more vampy burgundy cream. Super sexy!

Gal is a shimmery gold metallic with a green cast. It’s surprisingly sheer. In the photo above I did three coats (two coats on all the others). You can wear it alone or use it as a topper.

Bottom row (left to right):

Elaine is a dark, smoky brown cream. It has a purple cast. I found the three darkest shades to be a bit runny.

Tabitha is a shimmery deep emerald green with a pearl finish (a bit of shimmer but not glittery). This would be so gorgeous on tan skin.

Hadley is a smoky deep navy blue. I found this one to be a bit runny and it’s not a great match for my skin tone, so this was my least favorite.

What do you guys think of these shades? There are a few that are standouts for my skin tone and preference: Presley, Hera, Yvonne and Mona. Will you be picking any of these up? You can find this cruelty free nail polish collection at zoya.com for $10 each.

I love them all, skintone be darned! I’d have to hide them from my daughter, though, or they’d probably all make their way into her dorm room! lol
