It was around 5:30, so I scheduled a massage around 6. I got a text message saying I would need two sheets and a pillow case. Check. The gal, Carrie, who did my massage could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable. She set up her massage bed (we just needed a space around 10’x5′ (less than that was fine actually), so we did the massage in the living room, and I just had her help me move my coffee table out of the way. I told her I have fibromyalgia and sensitive areas, and she was very careful not to go too deep too fast. The massage was great, and I never had to put on makeup or get dressed or drive anywhere (I was slumming it in shorts and a t-shirt)! Fantastic – especially when you’ve got a Class A migraine!
One thing I really liked is that Zeel does background checks on the therapists, but they also do them ID checks on the customers. You only have to type in your SSN or scan your driver’s license (it’s quick and painless). But, I love that this protects the therapists too.
After having the massage, the app automatically charges your credit card so there is no cash exchange in person, making for safe and easy transactions that already include the tip. If you like the therapist, you can rate them (my therapist got all the stars!).
