Urban Decay always knows how to deliver when it comes to exciting palettes that we all swoon over, and the Vice3 Palette is no less impressive than the rest. With 20 never before seen shades, I was literally doing a happy dance when this palette landed on my desk for review. This felt like a prize in my hands with it’s gorgeous jeweled case and matching multi-colored makeup bag. it also includes a double sided brush that’s soft against the skin.

The shades included in this palette present many versatile options for the experimenting makeup enthusiast as well as some standard coordinating colors for those who need a little guidance.  Neutral colors are aligned vertically on the left, followed by gorgeous jewel tones in the next two columns, and last but certainly not least, smokey colors on the right. I’m mainly a neutral and smokey town girl myself, but those shades in the middle really call to me, especially column four with pink, burgandy(s) and reds. Yowza! They also come in a wide array of finishes from satin, matte, sparkle and metallic. With some many options you really can use this palette for the office or a night out the town.

I’ve always had good success with Urban Decay shadows, but for safe measure I opted to swatch these with a primer underneath so you can really see the color. And for record, I used a heavy hand in swatching so you can see the richness (or sheerness) of the color while on the skin. I’d say out of all the shades, Truth and Bobby Dazzle were the hardest to see but still visible, and colors like Heroine and Bondage REALLY clung to the skin–even after a good washing.

Suffice it to say, I am still admiring this palette even when its closed and sitting on my desk, it really is a thing of beauty and well worth the price tag when you consider how many great shadows you get for the price.

I actually don´t think the packaging is appealing – too much 80s lol. But the swatches are certainly appealing! Kisses darling, Sissi http://www.beauty4free2u.com

UD did never go to China. They wanted initially but changed their mind. 😉 (But: they are owned by Loreal).
