Thursdays with Cheeky Rox: Cruelty-Free Hair Products with Cure by Chiara

The past few months, my hair has been through a lot. I’ve been anxiously trying to grow out my hair and through the process I dyed it from my natural color to blonde then back dark again. Needless to say, my hair was in need of some tender love and care. My regular shampoo and conditioner just weren’t doing the job anymore because of the damage I’d caused with all of the bleach and dyes. My hair had severe split ends, dryness, and brittleness that I just couldn’t seem to get rid of. I decided it was time to try out some cruelty-free hair care products from the line, Cure by Chiara by the brand, Icon Products. The Cure collection consists of three products:

  • Recover Shampoo
  • The Original Replenishing Spray
  • Double Body Serum

MBBCureShampoo
The Recover Shampoo by Cure by Chiara was the first product I tried from the brand. After just 2-3 uses, I began noticing a difference in my hair. It was shinier, stronger, and healthier all around. This shampoo is enhanced with quinoa and tripeptides which both in strengthening the hair. The Recover Shampoo also contains prodew 500, which makes it a color-safe product. This is perfect for me because like I mentioned, I recently dyed my hair dark again! The vitamins and minerals in the shampoo really help my hair maintain a healthy PH balance and shine while encouraging healthy growth.

MBBCureDoubleBodySerum

Double Body Serum is essentially a volumizing product. When I really want to add some body to my hair, I work the serum into the base of my roots while my hair is still damp after showering. After applying the serum, I blow dry my hair to really amp up the volume. I have to say it works incredibly! Above, you can see the voluminous effect that the Double Body Serum has on my hair. Naturally, my hair tends to fall flat and doesn’t hold much lift so I’m really impressed! The Double Body Serum is filled with B-Vitamins, which have been proven to help maintain moisture and keep hair healthy.

MBBCureOriginalReplenishingSpray

The Original Replenishing Spray is a must-have! It’s definitely become a part of my daily routine – whether I’m styling my hair or not! After my shower, I’ll towel try my hair then spray the product all over as a leave-in conditioner. Like I said before, I’ve been having a lot of problems with dry, brittle, and damaged hair but after using this product I feel like my hair is already on it’s way to recovery. I noticed a difference in how my hair felt with just one use! The Original Replenishing Spray contains ingredients like Aloe, Silk Protein, and Panthenol, which all help to repair and rebuild damaged hair.

I’m so happy that I found this line of products by Cure by Chiara. I can already see a huge difference in the texture and look of my hair. The products are all made with specific ingredients that have been proven to help damaged hair retain moisture, strengthen strands, and reduce breakage. As a cherry on top, the products are color-safe – yay! If you have damaged hair that you’d like to repair, I highly recommend trying I.C.O.N. Products cruelty-free, Cure by Chiara line!
