The Chronic Tonic!

in Hair, Vegan on 11/08/10

Chronic Tonic shampoo and conditionerWhen it comes to shampoo and conditioner, it seems like it should be so easy, but it never is for me. It’s always too moisturizing, too drying, it stinks, or it just doesn’t cleanse well. I am really digging cruelty free brand, Tonic’s, Chronic Tonic shampoo and conditioner. It smells good – kind of a light herbal scent (despite the name, I’m pretty sure there’s no pot in it – hee hee). The shampoo cleanses well without stripping and the conditioner moisturizes without weighing my fine hair down.

Tonic’s products are intended for active people who go to the beach or swim in the pool a lot. Uhhhh – I don’t think sitting in front of a computer and blogging qualifies me as “active” but I still like the products. If you are one of those crazy, active people, you’ll love it even more. The shampoo and conditioner are safe for colored hair, are paraben-free, sulfate-free, non-toxic, not tested on animals and contain no animal ingredients (vegan-friendly).

Luster Tonic leave-in conditionerI also LOVE the Luster Tonic – a leave-in conditioner that can be used on wet or dry hair. I love this spray-on conditioner because it leaves my hair soft and tangle-free and it smells DIVINE! Tonic says it’s vanilla, banana and orange-scented, but I mainly smell the vanilla. I’m not usually into vanilla scents, but I love this stuff. Most guys love food, so I think having your hair smell like cupcakes is good boy-bait. Wear it on a date and see what happens!
