Almost every makeup product used in my Subtle Purple Makeup Tutorial is vegan! I love makeup brands that are cruelty free and kind to animals.

If you have hooded eyes like I do, you’ll love my Hooded Eyes Makeup Manual! It’s a great beginner’s guide to makeup with hooded eyes. It includes a brush guide, tutorials, tips and tricks for how to make the most of your eye shape. And best of all, it’s got unfiltered results on real people.

The Urban Decay On the Run Mini Palettes are perfect for people who want just a subtle pop of color. They’re really a great way to start experimenting with color. I didn’t appreciate that fact the first time I swatched these palettes, but I definitely have appreciated them more since I started this Subtle Pops of Color Makeup Series. The Urban Decay Bailout mini palette is great for people who want to try purple, while the Detour mini palette is perfect for those who want to experiment with teal blue. The Shortcut palette is all about blush tones and reds. It’s my favorite of the 3 palettes.

What do you think of this Subtle Purple Makeup Tutorial? What color do you want to see next?

It’s really perfect for those who think they can’t wear purple, this has just the touch you need on your eyes and then the blush and lips pick up the rest. Beautiful job.

I love that Courtney has been doing these subtle color looks lately because they are looks that I can try. I liked the green look and this purple one is gorgeous too.

I love this look. It’s a nice way for those of us who are a tad colour shy to play with new hues.

I love the look Courtney created! How pretty for a shimmery look! I like to have a little hint of colour in my makeup most days (sometime LOTS of colour) so this is such a great series.

I have no idea what hooded eyes mean. But your shadow is very pretty.

Thanks for this video – I bought the Viseart Liason palette for the purple colors and once I received it, I didn’t know what to do with it. I was just about ready to return it, I felt odd using some of the midtone brown (although it is a cool palette) as a transition color, but now that I see how you’ve done your corners and the lighter eyelid, Im going to try again!

I love how the crease color makes the purples pull almost neutral, it makes purples seem a little less intimidating, great tutorial!
