SpaRitual Nail Lacquer Awakening Collection review by my beauty bunnySAMPLE

SpaRitual Vegan Nail Polish

With it already being November were about to see winter collections roll out in time for the holidays and SpaRitual isn’t late to the game. When asked if I would be interested in sampling their holiday 2015 collection, Awakening, I didn’t hesitate. I’ve always been a big fan of painting my own nails and keep a large selection at home to switch between. This was my first time trying out SpaRitual so I was a bit excited to check out a brand that was cruelty free, and had a gorgeous range of colors.

All SpaRitual nail lacquers (and nail care products) are vegan and formulated without DBP, toulene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin or camphor.. They also have a line of body care products that include things like body butters, serums and balms, and try to use certified organic or fair trade ingredients whenever possible to maintain a high level quality.

The SpaRitual Nail Lacquer Awakening Collection has in total six cool, wintery colors you would find in nature.  The mini set that I got to try includes four of those colors. I found that even though these were “mini” in size I had no trouble handling the brush or handle and the formula of each polish was thin enough to glide onto the nail comfortably without goopiness. Each of these polishes were swatched with either 2 or 3 coats to give you the best visual and did not need a top coat to enhance their shine or shimmer.

Bright Future: A deep wine purple that is best in 3 coats for full opacity. A mature purple that would look great on toes as well as fingers.  Although this was the one “dark” color of the bunch, it cleaned up easily around the cuticles and had a super glossy shine to it.

In Service: A turquoise, silver shimmer polish swatched in 3 coats.  You still get a bit of VNL but looks gorgeous on. Love how this one catches light in the sun!

Creative Activist: A duo-chrome shimmer polish that I liked in two coats.  The polish looks mostly gold in the bottle but definitely shined lilac in the sunlight. Still had a bit of VNL so if you are looking to hide that it may be best to put this over the next color, Into the Wild.

In To The Wild: A white-gray creme polish that hit full opacity in two coats. I love simple neutral colors like this when I worked in an office. They look clean and crisp on the nails while still having an undeniable shine to them.

Overall I was very pleased with all the polishes I tried, the two shimmers were my favorite though. They just glisten in the sun beautifully! You can find SpaRitual at select spas and retail locations, including their website.  To find out more information about SpaRitual, you can connect with them on their social media accounts at Instagram, Facebook or Twitter to get the latest information and updates.

What a great mix of colours! so glad to see these actually painted on! They look so different on their website, in the bottle, and painted on. My fave is into the wild, it looked more blue online but it’s still a gorgeous colour =)

Such stunning shades! I purchased a few of their polishes last year and love them! <3
