Sparitual has so many amazing vegan and cruelty free nail polish colors, but I want to give this one from their holiday collection (“Rise”) a little extra love. “Rising Spirit” is such a beautiful gold shimmer, but due to the limitations of the printing press, you can’t tell how awesome it is from the bottle.
The bottle is covered with a gold wrap, that unfortunately looks like a muddy, mustard color. I didn’t think I’d be into it, but when I tried it on – wow – completely unexpected! It’s a very fine shimmer (and not textured – it’s completely smooth). The gold has a cool, antique feel to it. This will make a great holiday or New Year’s Eve color!
It’s part of Sparitual’s GOLD Flexible Color 2-part system. I used this along with the GOLD Flexible Top Coat. I have been wearing it for about a week and it’s just starting to show slight signs of wear around this tips of my nails. I’d say that’s pretty great! The brush and the formula are also really nice – no clumps or thickness – super easy to apply.
Side note: my fiance bought this sake bottle because (as he put it), he had to choose between two and he knew I would think this one was prettier and would want to use it in photos for My Beauty Bunny. Isn’t that sweet? He’s so well trained haha!
