Cruelty Free Perricone MD H2 Elemental Energy Review

Perricone MD H2 Elemental Energy Hydrating Collection Review

Question of the Week: Stop! What is the LAST THING you used on your face?

The last products I used on my face (this morning) are from the Perricone MD H2 Elemental Energy Hydrating collection. I used the serum, moisturizer and eye cream. I love that they give me the hydration that my skin desperately needs without feeling heavy or clogging my acne-prone pores! The products are thin, and they absorb immediately into my skin.

First I put on the Hydrating Booster Serum. It contains a “low molecular weight” hyaluronic acid and a lactobaccilus ferment to provide moisture and improve skin elasticity. It also contains ectoin to protect skin from UVA damage.

Then I dab on the De-Puffing Eye Gel. In addition to the H2 complex and hyaluronic acid, it also has red microalgae to soothe and protect skin. It prevents wrinkles, de-puffs (which is great because I have a salty food addiction!) and doesn’t clog the pores in that area (SUPER important to me).

And finally I add the Hydrating Cloud Cream. It’s thicker than the serum, but still relatively thin, and it doesn’t clog my pores AT ALL. It absorbs very quickly, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated but not oily or greasy.

These products are meant for all skin types, but I’m really impressed with how well they work for my combination/acneic/dehydrated skin. Usually anti-aging creams tend to be heavy and thick, and that doesn’t work for me at all. I’m happy to have found these cruelty free anti-aging products!

Beautygeeks – is just reminding herself that August is still summertime, so she’s got time to use this Healthy Glow moisturizer that sun-washes skin with encapsulated-pigment technology.

Blushing Noir – finally hauled some Makeup Geek…. and more than just eyeshadow! Check out her picks, thoughts and a back-to-school makeup look you can wear daily!

fanserviced-b – investigated why you’re not supposed to wash your hair with conditioner after a nuclear blast for Racked.

(Wondering what the Lipstick League is? Find out here.)

Phyrra is Currently Craving: I’m currently obsessing over the Kat Von D Everlasting Glimmer Veil Liquid Lipsticks. I bought 3 shades – Thunderstruck, Wizard and Razzle, and I want them all!

I also find that many anti-aging creams are way too thick. It seems they think that all you need to do is suffocate your skin. I love that this cream absorbs well. It’s a must-have quality in a daytime product for me.
