Summer Fragrances from Pacifica Beauty
Nothing says summer quite like a new perfume. While shopping at ULTA last week I saw Pacifica’s line of perfumes and decided to try one of them: Island Vanilla. This fragrance comes in both a one fluid ounce bottle and in a smaller 0.33 ounce roll-on. Of course I had to pick both up, one for at home and one for in my purse, making it quick and easy to refresh the scent if necessary.
What caught my attention in the first place was this product’s packaging. Both products come in small boxes which are extremely cute, full of flowers and hearts. The design is then carried through onto the bottle as a gold cap compliments hot pink ink, further making this perfume remind me of summer. Another factor that contributed to me purchasing this perfume was the fact that it is vegan. In fact there are only three main ingredients in this perfume: alcohol denat made from natural grain, a parfum fragrance blend, and water. There is something to be said about spraying natural and essential oils onto your skin versus chemicals.
This sweet smelling fragrance definitely pays homage to its name. Up front vanilla hits you uncomplicated and pure, however hidden underneath is honey combined with a fruity scent that reminds me of summer vacations on the beach. It’s a lightweight fragrance without much depth, yet it still stays around for a moderate amount of time. I applied a spritz behind my ear and on the inside of my wrist, finding that even around lunch time I could still detect a slight trace of vanilla lingering. Overall I am incredibly happy with this purchase and will definitely be rotating it through as one of my summer perfumes. Furthermore I might have to stop by ULTA again and pick up some of Pacifica’s other perfumes such as Tuscan Blood Orange and Brazilian Mango Grapefruit. If fruit based fragrances aren’t your thing, you still might want to check out this brand as they offer a variety of products and fragrance scents.

I love Pacifica fragrances! The Island Vanilla is my favorite, and is so great alone or layered with other scents. It smells great combined with their Mexican Cocoa, Spanish Amber or Coconut. I love their body products too, particularly the body wash, butter and deodorant wipes!
Good perfume, I probably need this kind of perfume also for me to use every day in order to look always fresh.
All I’m going to say is that I would marry this fragrance if I could. It’s amazing and on me it lasts the entire day. It’s a beautiful scent without being overbearing or old-school flowery. I catch myself taking a whiff of my wrist at times, haha. So goooood!!

Oh my goodness, I got to get a whiff of this the last time I went to Target, and I fell IN LOVE. It smells so sweet, yet subtle to me. I didn’t get to purchase it, but I for sure will next time!
