LUSH Mothers Day Gifts

LUSH Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Oh LUSH – I just can’t quit you! Sephora, Ulta and LUSH are the three places where I feel like a kid in a candy store! Especially LUSH – because the products are actually laid out like goodies in a bakery or candy shop. If I see a Lush store, you can bet I’m going in, and I will probably buy something!

The new Lush Mother’s Day products do not disappoint. Whether you’re buying them for your mom, a mom-figure in your life, a friend, or for yourself, you will want to get them before they’re gone!

Here’s what they have in their limited edition Mother’s Day collection:

Your Mother Should Know bubble bar (vegan) – a giant multi-colored bubble bar with a fresh rosewood, grapefruit and neroli scent.

Mom bath bombs (vegan) – these come in yellow and pink varieties. They both smell like Sicilian lemons and sweet oranges, with a touch of rose. Three of my favorite scents mixed together! I didn’t think the scent was overly strong with these after they have dissolved. So great if you prefer a lighter scent, but if you want a heavier scent, these may not be for you.

Baa Bar bubble bar (vegan) – An adorable little bubble bar shaped like a sheep! It has a relaxing clove and rose scent.

Lush Mom Bath Bomb and Pink Custard Shower Jelly

Pink Custard shower jelly (vegan) – I have to say, I really don’t understand the appeal of shower jellies. They are too wobbly and hard to use – I’d rather have a shower gel or bar soap. But, that being said, I have a lot of friends who love these jellies (like My Beauty Bunny writer, Claudia!). And even though I’m not a shower jelly girl, OMG this one smells SO good. I have to petition Lush to come out with a shower gel in this scent. It’s tonka and vanilla with a little coconut milk and brown sugar. SO GOOD.

Ups a Daisy bath bomb (vegan) – This is a big one that has lots of fun colors. The scent is primarily orange/citrus – with a bit of rose and rosewood.

Sunrise soap (vegan) – This one is described by Lush as a “luxurious blend of dove orchid and organic silken tofu, sweet syrupy coconut blossom nectar and a floral marigold infusion.” I’m not completely sure what that means, but to me is smells like fresh squeezed oranges! It’s a wonderful scent, and it lathers up pretty nicely.

Elsie the Giraffe (You’re Havin’ a Bath) (vegan) reusable bubble bar – This adorable bubble bar is bright yellow and shaped like a giraffe – with two bubble bars on opposite ends of a stick. You can run the stick under water to get some bubbles happening, and then re-use it for several baths. You can re-use any of the bubble bars, but this one is especially suited for that! This one has a happy lemon scent – with lime, lemon and grapefruit.

Yummy Mummy shower cream (vegan) – They say this purple, creamy shower gel smells like strawberries, but I don’t get that at all. I get more of the sweet cocoa butter and vanilla, with a hint of fruit. If you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear what you think!

There’s also a Honey Vanilla lip scrub and Scrubee, a solid body bar, that I haven’t tried yet. Those two are cruelty free and vegetarian. The others I mentioned above are vegan.

Thanks for being amazing and for fighting animal testing LUSH! Take all my money! 🙂 Run to a store near you if you need a last minute gift for the mom in your life, or if you’re hoarding them for yourself (like me!), check out their online store.
