NYX Pin Up Pout Lipstick Review and Swatches

in Budget, Makeup on 02/16/17

PR Sample

Check out a full review of the NYX Pin Pout Lipstick, plus you can view beautiful swatches of the collection and see what you like best!

The new NYX Pin Up Pout Lipsticks are just my speed – not long wear or drying, but not overly greasy/moisturizing or glossy. Just super creamy and pigmented. Are they going to last all day? No. But your lips won’t peel off and you won’t need a piece of sandpaper and a tub of oil to remove them at night either. Sometimes I enjoy long-wear lippies, but it’s all about balance people! There are 24 shades of highly pigmented lipstick goodness. And as of RIGHT NOW (while I’m writing this), they are 40% off! I have no idea how long the promo will last – so go check em out.

I swatched them all on my arm so you can see the shades, but here’s one on my lips so you can see the texture. It’s a shade called Darling which is a lovely light blue-based pink. Definitely going on my heavy rotation list!

Top Row: Smoke Me (pastel lilac grey – SO pretty in the swatch but makes me look dead), Silk (pale nude), Sophisticated (warm nude medium), Corset (cool nude)

Second Row: Darling (soft pink with blue undertone – one of my faves!), Almost Famous (Dusty Mauve – my favorite!), Boundless (deep tea rose with yellow), Opinionated (true coral)

Third Row: Wisteria (neon lavender), Violet Femme (violet), True Vixen (blackened purple), Wild Spirit (dusty navy)

Fourth Row: Individualistic (medium brown with blue), Resistance (dirty deep mauve), Cocktail Hour (wine plum with soft pink), Flashy (deep vibrant purple with blue)

Fifth Row: Savage (true deep brown), Rebel Soul (dusty brownish plum), Revolution (deep reddish plum with blue), Lucy (true bright red)

Sixth Row: Red Haute (brick red), Bombshell (deep hot pink), Dance Party (bubble gum pink), Fiery (medium deep orange – I love this shade!)

I love the second row and some of the first for sure. Never heard of these yet anyway. Love Nyx lippies. Thanks so much.

Swatches look great, I wonder how they would look on my darker complexion.
