Nubian Heritage Coconut Papaya Collection review by my beauty bunny

NUBIAN HERITAGE – HEALTHY SKINCARE WITH A TROPICAL TWIST

I’ve always been a fan of trying out different bath and body products. I don’t think I’ll ever be that person who jumps in and out of a shower quickly. As my husband always reminds me, I like to take my time in there, because quite frankly, A long hot shower is heaven sent from above. Great bath products really make me excited because I love a good scent during and after a shower, along with feeling that my skin is being pampered in every way possible.  These past two weeks I’ve been lucky enough to try out some products from the Nubian Heritage Coconut Papaya Collection and I need to share it with you guys!

Nubian Heritage makes several lines of bath and body care products using natural ingredients and traditional formulas from around the world that nurture and improve the health of our skin. They don’t use any synthetic ingredients, and are free of parabens, silicones, gluten and petrolatum.

I feel like the Coconut Papaya Collection was made just for me. For one, the fragrance is ahhhhmazing! It’s a delicious scent that my husband likes also. If you like fragranced bath products this one is a winner in that category. This particular collection focuses on skin renewal and deep moisturization with the help of coconut oil and papaya extract which gently exfoliates the skin.

I love that I have an option between a liquid body wash or bar soap. I don’t use bar soap often, but it is a nice change and tends to last longer for me since I tend to like to use a lot of product with my shower poof.  If my baby daughter takes a bath with me I add a little of the body wash to the running water so she gets some bubbles while I do my thing. The effervescent bath bombs are also a fun little treat if I get some extra time to do a soak. It’s also a nice way to get a little extra scent into bath time while giving your skin an extra moisturizing treat. The body souffle is fabulous. I love a good, hydrating body cream to douse my body in. I highly suggest checking that one out if you see it in the store!

After showering I L.O.V.E to follow up with the body lotion. I basically use this all over from the neck down. It gives my legs a beautiful sheen to it without being overly greasy. And I keep the hand cream on my kitchen counter since I wash dishes throughout the day.

And guys. If you are afraid to switch to a natural deodorant — DON’T BE! To be honest, I’ve been using this one since before I got this care package. Antiperspirants have such a bad rap I try to stay away from them as much as possible. I like that this is a stick that doesn’t require your fingers to dig into a jar. Not my style. I wouldn’t say it lasts 24 hours, so I apply twice a day and don’t smell like a foot so I’d say it’s a win!

I’m in love with this tropical scented line and how well it keeps my skin feeling moisturized. It’s really hard to choose a favorite from this collection, but if I had to pick one, it’d be their body lotion because the scent carries with me for a while.
