Nothing Nasty Body Moisturizer Product Review

in Body, Dry Skin, Misc on 06/10/10

Cruelty-free – fresh from the U.K.

nothing-nasty-moisturizerJust like your favorite meal that mom makes, sometimes the best things are homemade. Nothing Nasty Natural Skin Care is made with natural, 100% pure ingredients that not only feed your skin, but feed your soul a little too. Made and packaged with loving care in the founder’s private home, Nothing Nasty skin care products come packaged in recyclable containers that can be mailed back for a 20% refilling discount. Creating products that are as close to nature as possible, Nothing Nasty Natural Skin Care has certainly done their homework when it comes to choosing “safe and simple” ingredients that benefit your skin by nourishing and feeding it. Nothing Nasty understands that your skin is your body’s largest organ and believes in feeding it with the best ingredients nature has to offer, most of which are locally sourced right in the U.K.

When I first tried Nothing Nasty’s Body Moisturizer, I purposely put it on after a hot shower to see if it would suffocate or irritate my skin. Like other body oils I have tried before, I couldn’t help but wonder if it would make me itch or feel sticky. I was pleasantly surprised that Nothing Nasty’s Bliss Body Moisturizer fully absorbed into my skin within five minutes leaving it silky and soft instead of tacky. The alluring scent from the jasmine and sandalwood essential oils left me feeling as feminine and classic as Juliet herself. Nothing Nasty’s Zest Uplifting Body Moisturizer has the same absorbent and silky quality except the scent is derived from sweet orange and clove essential oils.

Even though these body moisturizers are scented with essential oils they aren’t strong like perfume. They are subtle and pretty enough to be worn with other scented products if you choose. Their body moisturizers are also packed with nourishing ingredients like Vitamin A, B, D & E, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron & proteins, making it a beneficial product for your body.

honey_vanilla_lipbalmAfter using the Nothing Nasty’s Honey and Vanilla Vegetarian Lipbalm, it quickly became the front-runner among my favorite natural lip balms. The lip balm is so creamy and buttery that it feels like I’m truly applying a natural product. This lip balm far outlasts any other lip balm I’ve ever owned as far as moisture longevity on my lips and I’m not sure I can quite live without it.

Nothing Nasty Natural Skin Care has a variety of products available at www.nothingnasty.com for purchase including bath salts and teas, pregnancy and eczema products, facial care & baby products.

I did a review their facial products. They are an amazing product line. Thought the name was kinda strange till I started reading the ingredients. It was the first time I ever used a oil as a moisturizer. Amazing blog post as always!
