niffers-baby-cream review by my beauty bunnySAMPLE

All Natural Cruelty Free Baby Cream

Since having a baby, I’ve been ultra careful in choosing products for both her and I to use. I look for things that are as natural as possible, but also effective in doing their job. Baby’s skin tends to be more sensitive than ours, so choosing lotions and washes that are gentle with minimal ingredients are important so they don’t dry out or irritate the skin. When I was asked to try out Niffer’s All Natural Baby Cream, I looked over the brand and looked forward to testing it out on both Zoe and I.

Niffer’s makes 100% all natural products for skincare, as well as household cleaners. Everything is hand-made in small batches with careful consideration in regards to the ingredients used. They also make sure to keep everything affordable for you and I. And let me tell you….when you have a baby, affordability is something you appreciate even more when you have a little one that goes through stuff by the boatload in the first year of life.

So back to the cream. Niffer’s All Natural Baby Cream is an all purpose moisturizing cream that can be used from head to toe. This cream is made with soothing, moisturizing raw ingredients, so you can use it on the face, bum or tootsies and works equally great where ever you use it! The base is shea butter which deeply moisturizes the skin, along with coconut oil which is a great all purpose anti-fungal moisturizing component. Arrowroot powder soothes irritated skin (think diaper rash), and has Vitamin E, Calendula and Chamomile Essential Oil for its healing, calming and anti-inflammatory properties.

I loved using this cream right after giving Zoe her bath. She would get dry patches sometimes on her legs and this would fix that overnight. I also loved the light scent of this cream because it reminds me of chamomile tea, but in cream form. A little really does go a long way so I suspect this tin to last us for a while. It’s a thick cream that softens with body heat in your hands and I was able to use any remaining cream left on my hands on myself afterwards. I get really dry elbows and this worked great! I also slather some on my lips when they get a little dry. I would suggest keeping this cream in a cool place because of its all natural formula. You don’t need to keep it in the fridge or anything, but shea butter and coconut oil melt easily with the warmth of your hands, so a warm diaper bag sitting in the car may be something you want to keep in mind.

Niffer’s All Natural Baby Cream comes in two sizes, 2 oz and 4 oz and stays under the $15 price range which is nice. I’d be inclined to get the larger size next time to keep near the changing pad in my daughter’s room. I also like the idea of their vegan, all natural unscented laundry powder that could even be used in our H.E washer. I’ve made it a point to only use unscented, dye-free detergents on our entire family’s laundry to save ourselves the trouble of possible irritants.
