Chrome Girl is a cruelty-free, non-toxic nail polish brand that’s a fashion forward alternative to all of the chemical-ridden nail polishes on the market. Chrome Girl takes pride in being a “5-free” nail polish brand. This means that the polishes are formulated without the top 5 toxins used in commercial nail polishes, making the product free of DBP, formaldehyde, toluene, formaldehyde resin, and camphor. Even though this is a non-toxic and healthy nail choice, you won’t be sacrificing quality or color. Chrome girl has a wide array of beautiful colors that are sure to be perfect for any occasion!
Chrome Girl has come out with some new nail polishes for Fall 2014. The first shade I tried from Chrome Girl was Pretty Pout. The way I would describe Pretty Pout is just “the perfect red”! It’s a classic red with a tinge of gold shimmer. The gold glitter finish makes me want to pair it with my favorite red lipstick 😉
I also had the opportunity to try the shade Inspire the Desire. I have to say it was love at first sight with this shade! Amongst all the dark nail polish colors that come out this time of year, this particular Fall polish stands out to me. I love that it’s a unique coral shade that’s still incredibly Autumn-appropriate because of its subtle warm tan undertone.
This was my first time trying any polishes from Chrome girl and I have to say, I’m impressed! Along with being cruelty-free and 5-free, the formula dries extremely fast and is very long lasting. Both of the polishes applied smooth and streak free. I was impressed that both of the shades were completely opaque with just one coat! Of course, two coats will give your nail polishes even more shine and depth, which is what I opted for. It’s still great to know that in a rush, you can be good to go with just one quick, fast-drying coat.
As far as non-toxic, cruelty-free nail polishes go – you can’t go wrong with Chrome Girls! These two colors are incredible for Fall and I can’t wait to try more of the beautiful colors from the Chrome Girls collection!
