Easy Nail Art With NCLA Nail Wraps

Nail wraps. I had heard about them, but I never really understood how ‘stickers’ could actually work on my nails. I thought stickers were only for doctor visits when I was a kid. But when I received the NCLA nail wraps at the Summer Soiree event, I knew it was time to put these stickers to the test!I received a sample pack out of the House of Hollywood Collection  My pack was the black and white nail wraps—perfect for any occasion!

On the back of the wrap were easy to follow step-by-step directions. As directed, I first applied a coat of clear polish to my nails. Then I opened the wrap pack and began.

I slowly peeled off the stickers and gently placed them on each nail. The first one I tried didn’t fit over my nail and I thought the whole pack was a complete failure and waste of my time. What I hadn’t realized is that the stickers are stretchy and can be pulled to fit the width of your nail—how awesome is that? (be sure to gently stretch the stickers, as I did have one of them rip in half, but thankfully NCLA was thinking ahead and gave the pack two extra stickers for people like me who often make mistakes, phew!)

The sticker reached passed the length of my nail, which turned out to be an easier fix than I anticipated. All you have to do is fold the sticker over your nail and file the edge with a nail filer, then apply a clear polish over the top. It worked like a charm!

It didn’t take me long to apply all stickers, especially after I started getting used to the application process. I was also relieved to know that I was free to do whatever I wanted after applying them! No drying time was need, no toxic smell in the air, and only one application and you’re done! I was so pleased and my nails looked amazing! I got FIVE compliments from various people, random strangers and a friend, within the FIRST DAY of wearing them!

It looked like I had gotten a beautiful nail art mani without having to shell out a bunch of money and without making an appointment!

Best of all? The nail stickers lasted way longer than any polish I’ve ever used! They even withstood the test of water when I took showers and washed dishes. I was honestly amazed. If you haven’t tried nail stickers, I definitely say to give them a try. And if you have, NCLA has some amazing designs! I would love to try the Foul Play nail wraps since I love feathers so much! My only regret is that I didn’t find these sooner or I would have had amazing festive nails all the time!
