Natural Grapeseed Hand Cream

in Body, Budget, Dry Skin, Misc, Vegan on 10/29/10

cruelty free seed hand cream

If you’re looking for a natural hand and body cream that moisturizes well but isn’t greasy, I got a good one for ya. Seed Healthy Hand Cream is made with antioxidant-filled grape seed oil, shea butter (to hydrate), aloe (to heal) and jojoba oil (to seal in moisture). You can choose the citrus fragrance (made with tangerine, grapefruit and lime essential oils) or the unscented variety, which actually has very little detectable scent (unlike some products that smell medicinal).

Seed is a cruelty-free company – no animal testing of course. What’s also great about the Healthy Hand Cream is what’s NOT in it:

  • Parabens
  • Phthalates
  • Petrochemicals
  • Artificial Colors
  • Animal byproducts (vegan-friendly)

Seed was started when a husband and wife team were thinking about starting a family. They took a look at all the chemicals they used daily, and figured if they’re not safe for babies and pets, why use them? They decided they needed a clean start, so they threw away all of the old products and developed their own line of 100% natural, safe alternatives.

Grape seeds are the star ingredient in all of their formulations. Grape seeds have a high level of antioxidants (like Vitamin E) and essential fatty acids. They are also sustainable (a byproduct of the wine industry). The best part? It’s very inexpensive for such a high quality product! You can buy Seed’s natural hand cream on their website (currently $5.59 with instant coupon).
