It has been said that Cleopatra wore the scent of lavender in her seduction of Mark Antony and Julius Caesar and that eucalyptus oil was used as an antiseptic for surgery during the 1880s. When it comes to essential oils in beauty products, there is something to be said for the natural scent of them versus the strong commercial perfumes found in more synthetic ones. Petunia Essentials is one of the highest quality, cruelty free, handmade natural bath and body products that I’ve tried in awhile!
I really enjoyed taking my time and trying each of the variety of products I received. Vanilla & Honey and Piña Colada Sugar Scrubs were a larger crystal of sugar scrub than I have ever used before but I ended up really loving it. It is made with turbinado sugar which is a raw cane sugar. When the sugar cane is initially pressed, it creates turbinado sugar that contains more minerals than other sugars that are eventually processed and bleached. The reason I like the larger crystal sugar is because it lasts longer as I scrub it all over my body. It doesn’t just disintegrate in the shower water after a few seconds like other brands.
The Lavender and Pear & Redwood Body Butters reminded me of whipped vanilla frosting! My favorite was the lavender. They are so nourishing and absorbent that sometimes I had trouble spreading them over a large part of my skin, but it didn’t stop me from using them. They keep my skin hydrated, soft and smooth for an entire night and the following day after. Made with olive, jojoba, apricot and avocado oils and shea butter it is easy to see why they intensely hydrated my skin for so long. It is especially beneficial to have this product around during the winter months when the artificial heat of our houses tends to dry out our skin!
Taking a bath with the Plumeria and Spearmint and Eucalyptus Bath Salts was also a tranquil experience since I’m pretty much obsessed with anything bath related at the moment. The Spearmint and Eucalyptus was my favorite scent and its relaxing aroma just lends itself to a hot bath. I highly recommend purchasing the larger of the two sizes of bath salts! I went through the small size after a few uses.

i love the plumeria spearmint bath salts so much, luckly my husband bought me some this stuff for christmas was not to keen on the body scrub tho

I love these product! I've tried just concerning all of the product and not one of them has disappointed me. The body butter is awesome and you don't should use much. The scrubs are simply right for my sensitive skin. And the soap is simply too smart! I known as the owner and asked her what else to strive and she or he recommended trying one amongst the merchandise during a completely different scent.
