Napoleon Perdis mineral foundation

Napoleon Perdis has come out with a cool, cruelty free foundation combo – a liquid mineral foundation and a mineral powder that you use before AND after the foundation.

Start with the Mattifying Mineral Primer  – it comes in a cool container that doles out just the right amount of powder without it getting all over the place – love it! The powder is translucent, but seemed slightly yellow – which works great for me, but I’m not sure if it’s for everyone. The primer includes aloe, white tea and grape seed – major antioxidant power to protect and enhance your skin. The primer powder absorbs oil and allows the foundation to stick and stay put.

The Napoleon Perdis Advanced Mineral Makeup has just enough coverage to cover imperfections without looking like, well – makeup. It blends well and has good staying power. I love that you can layer it for more coverage without any clumping or streaking. It absorbs oil (it’s oil-free), keeps skin hydrated and has SPF 15. I checked with NP and the squalene and hyaluronic acid are animal-free, so you can appreciate the moisturizing properties without worrying about animal cruelty!

After applying the liquid foundation, brush on more of the Mattifying Mineral Primer and you are set for the whole day!
