Murad Acne Treatment Concealer Light

Murad Acne Treatment Concealer Review by Jonathan Agam.

I’ve always been somewhat jealous that girls can wear make up and hide their acne and imperfections. Don’t get me wrong though, I’m the last one that would want to wear makeup. It always looked daunting to see how girls would spend hours and hours putting on makeup to fit what they believed was beautiful.

When I was asked to review this product, I was not really sure if I wanted to do it at first. All I saw was the word “Concealer” and I already thought I would not like it. Than, I really thought about it. I thought about it and thought of the brand; I love Murad products and always use their Acne Spot Treatment. The next thought I had was my daily morning regimen of sunscreen. For a period of time, I would use tinted sunscreen but stopped because the color would rub off and stain the collar of my shirts. So in retrospect, I really took it as this product not being a concealer, just a tinted acne treatment! It comes in two shades – Light and Medium.

Benefits: Acne Treatment Concealer’s two-in-one formula disguises blemishes while it treats them. Salicylic Acid clears active breakouts and helps prevent new ones. Vitamin A helps regulate oil production while an antioxidant-rich blend featuring Green Tea Extract provides powerful protection against free-radicals.

When I use this product, I literally just dab it on my red areas a few times and rub it in. From my experiences, I don’t put it on my pimples because it looks like make up to me. I also try not to dab too much on – just a small amount will do it.

So when I do put on the right amount and rub it in, it covers most of my redness and clears up my acne! I’ll usually put it on during my nighttime activities and by the time I come home and wash my face, the redness has cleared up! It’s super light so you don’t really feel it. And girls, I know that you definitely can put makeup on it right after applying. It’s not a cream or anything super heavy, so it dries up pretty quickly. It has 2 % Salicylic Acid to help to dry out blemishes and acne in a jiffy! This is definite must have item if you are going out at night time and just want your redness not to show. You can also most definitely also use it for your day to day activities without having to worry that it’ll dry out your skin too much.

Personally, I love this product and will be using this for every time I go out for the night, to a club, date, whatever!

I’ve heard a lot about the Murad products but I’ve never tried, and I’m always on the lookout for concealers especially ones that doesn’t crease 🙂
