Recently I had the opportunity to play with the new Limited Edition Milani Color Play Felt-tip pens. These are highly pigmented, colored marker eyeliners that are so much fun! They come in 6 shades: white, black, pink, blue, grey and green.

Milani says that these pens are to expertly line your eyes or create works of art on your face or body. I love that they’re meant for all over use! I definitely feel the urge to doodle on my face with them.
They are not waterproof, so on my allergy-prone watery eyes I definitely need primer if I’m going to wear them.
It’s very easy to create the perfect cat eye or double winged liner look with these pens.
It’s fairly easy to do multiple colors too, though I think you’d have to work very fast to be able to blend the edges. I played around with 3 colors. It was very easy to line around the pink with the blue shade.
If you’re looking for a pop of bright color, you should give these a try. The pink and blue are especially bright. They’re fairly easy to work with, too, since they’re in a pen style. You can very easily get a thin, delicate line, or a broader thick line. I appreciate the versatility.
While they are not waterproof, I did find them to wear fairly well on primer for me. they didn’t rub off on my crease, despite me having hooded eyes. It’s just when you add water… they’ll come off.
