Thursdays with Cheeky Rox: Get Your Glow On with Milani Blushes

Milani Cosmetics is making a splash in the cruelty-free makeup world. They’re always releasing new and exciting products with amazingly high-qualtiy standards at drugstore prices. You really can’t beat that! Some of Milani’s products are my holy-grail makeup items that I just can’t live without! Today we’ll be looking at a few of their blushes:

  • Milani Baked Blush in 11 Bella Rosa
  • Milani Baked Blush in 09 Red Vino
  • Milani Rose Powder Blush in 01 Romantic Rose
  • Milani Rose Powder Blush in 10 Awakening Rose

Milani Blush Swatches

You can see from these swatches that all four of these beautiful blushes are super pigmented. That’s just one of the wonderful things that sets Milani’s products apart from the rest in my opinion. Along with having excellent color payoff, both the Baked Blushes and the Rose Powder Blushes have smooth, creamy formulas that glide onto the cheeks creating the perfect rosy glow.

Milani Bella Rosa

Milani’s Baked Blush in Bella Rosa is the newest addition to the collection. This is a gorgeous matte hot pink with a raspberry undertone. Although it may look super bright, the deep raspberry hue makes it wearable. This is going to be a great shade for upcoming Spring/Summer makeup looks. I’m able to achieve a really nice, fresh-faced look with just a light sweep across the cheeks. Along with being cruelty-free, this shade is also vegan!

Milani Red Vino

The Milani Baked Blush in Red Vino is a gorgeous, deep, berry-plum shade with gold shimmer. It has great pigmentation and the gold shimmer gives a really beautiful glow to the cheeks. When applying this blush I’m able to get just the right amount of color deposit and it blends like a dream! I love this shade for Winter makeup looks paired with a vampy lip and a neutral eye.

Milani Romantic Rose

Milani’s Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose is the perfect matte shade to add a natural, rosy flush to any makeup look. I love the beautiful flower pattern that the powder blush has in its compact, but it looks even prettier on my cheeks (if that’s even possible)! This rosy hue has a natural pink undertone that will be flattering on any skin tone. Romantic Rose is really nicely pigmented and perfect for adding just a hit of rosiness to the cheeks.

Milani Awakening Rose

The Rose Powder Blush in the shade Awakening Rose is a dusty rose with a coral undertone and a hint of shimmer. I love the look of this blush – it give a natural glow to my cheeks with just the right amount of sparkle! This blush has a super silky texture that makes it easy to blend seamlessly. Awakening Rose is one of three limited edition Rose Powder Blushes from Milani so get your hands on it before it’s too late!

As you can tell I’m a huge fan of both the Baked Blushes and Rose Powder Blushes from Milani. These four shades are so beautiful, versatile, and wearable – not to mention the formula is awesome as well. You can’t ask for more when you have this kind of color-pay off and silky texture.
