Metamour Botanique Vitamin C Serum Review

in Acne-prone, Combination Skin, Dry Skin, Men, Oily Skin, Skin on 07/08/12

Written by Phyrra, Staff Writer

Recently I had the opportunity to try out the Vitamin C Serum from Metamour Botanique. I am not a toner girl, but I LOVE serums and I specifically love Vitamin C! I feel like a good Vitamin C serum makes my skin feel super smooth.

What it is
Vitamin C has shown that it can reverse signs of aging by stimulating collagen, decreasing wrinkle depth and protecting against UV cell damage. It can inhibit freckles, age spots and most pigmentation irregularities. Packed with nutrients, citrus fruit has been cultivated in an ever-widening area since ancient times; the best-known examples are oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and limes.

How it’s Used
As an extra boost to your skin daily.

Price:
$36 for 2 oz.

What it does:
It’s a Vitamin C serum that absorbs quickly into the skin. It smells like oranges and a bit of perfume at first, but that quickly fades.

A little bit goes a long way! The tiny dot you see on the back of my hand is enough to moisturize the entire back of my hand. You can use this on top of your daily moisturizer with SPF or underneath it. It doesn’t feel greasy or oily in the slightest. It doesn’t leave a residue behind on my skin. I definitely feel like my skin is smoother after having used it. I love Vitamin C serums and this one is no exception.

If you’re looking for a way to perk up your skin, I definitely recommend a Vitamin C serum. Your skin will thank you for it!
