After a difficult break-up one of the best healing treatments (better than knocking back a few cocktails) is shopping; whether it be for new clothes, shoes, or beauty products. If you are apprehensive about spending money during this financially difficult time, justify it by telling yourself that these new products might help you attract your prince charming.
On one of these much needed shopping trips, I found myself dragged into a fresh handmade cosmetics store called Lush by one of my girlfriends. She swears by their Dream Cream Body Cream and encouraged me to purchase an 8.4 oz. tub of it.
At first I was apprehensive, thinking that it would be just like every other body lotion: greasy and would leave a residue. As I continued to read the back of the tub I was more and more convinced that I had to have this lotion in my beauty cabinet. Not only was the product vegan, but its natural ingredients gave it a light and fresh scent that wouldn’t leave a oily residue. I just had to have the Dream Cream!
Now, two months later I do not regret my decision to purchase this “dreamy” lotion and carry it in my purse everywhere I go. The lightweight formula makes it easy to apply and soaks in quickly. The smell is refreshing and not so strong that it overpowers everyone around you. While the size of the tub makes it difficult to carry around, Lush offers samples sizes perfect for fitting in your new purse (the one you also purchased on this much needed shopping trip).
I no longer need a break-up as an excuse to buy my favorite body lotion. I would drop the measly $22 on this Dream Cream any day!
