I got a sample of LATHER’s Bamboo Lemongrass Body Scrub at a beauty industry event I attended a while back. I was pretty impressed, so I had to post a review.
The scrub spreads evenly – it doesn’t clump up all in one spot like some do. The walnut shells and bamboo powder give you a GREAT scrub and there is no oily, greasy residue. It rinses clean and leaves you with super soft, clean skin. The scrubbing action also increases circulation and left my tired, post-workout legs feeling invigorated.
The smell is a bit strong though – it’s not for everyone. It’s lemongrass-y, but mixed with woodsy, herbal scents like ylang ylang and vetivert.
I’m not sure why they call it a “foaming” scrub, because it doesn’t bubble up like a foam would. It does spread very evenly, so maybe that’s what they’re getting at.
It’s very nice, and I will have to check out their Eucalyptus Foaming Foot Scrub too.
