When a pitch for a skin perfector comes across your desk, really, how can you pass that up?  My skin can use all the perfecting it could right now, and after looking into what it actually was, I was eager to try it out. The Skin Perfecter 4-in-1 Beauty Tool from Le Mieux Cosmetics aims to give you healthier skin by deep cleansing pores, exfoliating cellular build-up, reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, while working as a sonic infuser of skin serums. What a tool!

The Le Mieux Skin Perfecter aims to be helpful for all skin types from sensitive to oily and congested.  There are no additional brushes, tips or add ons that you need to purchase to use your skin perfecter over time, just a single rechargeable handheld device that works in just minutes a day. Le Mieux suggests using the device for approximately 3 minutes a day, three times a week. Not only does it clean the skin without the use of any added chemicals, but provides a mini-massage for the skin with its 28,000 ultrasonic vibrations per second to tone the skin as well.

When I first tried the device I was fascinated with how it actually cleansed the skin. The only thing you need is a wet face, but it’s recommended to be used AFTER washing you face of makeup or lotions. I know splashing water on my face was not going to keep it wet so I kept a saturated cotton round on the sink and wiped my face in 4 different sections as I went along: forehead, cheek 1, cheek 2, then chin and nose. The Le Mieux Skin Perfecter appears to work by softening and vibrating the oil right out of those pores.  Because the spatula on the device is bent, one side is used for “scraping” the skin, while the other side is designed to infuse serums. I chose to use the highest setting for my skin type.

I LOVED used this device over super oily areas like my nose. If you have a sick fascination with nose pore strips then you’re going to love seeing what comes out of your skin with this device. Talk about a gunk remover! My husband insisted I try it on him next after he saw what I was able to remove. I also tried this over some pimples but found that large, tender ones did not benefit from the extraction feature of this device, but smaller, less painful ones did.  All you do is wet the skin, pull it taut, and run the device over your skin, pimples and all. My chin and nose were the most successful spots for gunk removal…and I loved it. Not to mention the micro-fine mist of water that comes off your face while you run the spatula over your skin, showing just how fast those sonic vibrations are working.

I spent a lot of time on my forehead since I have expression lines that I cannot ignore.  While I’ve only been using the device for about 3 weeks, I have to say that I haven’t found a noticeable different in wrinkle size, but they are pretty deep wrinkles that only botox has been able to fix before. I think the serum infusing feature of the device is better suited for wrinkle “blurring” by keeping the skin hydrated with a good hyaluronic acid serum.

After use I clean the spatula with a cotton round soaked in alcohol to disinfect the stainless steel plate. Because it is a device that can be disinfected easily and doesn’t need parts to be removed, I am more than happy to share with my husband who also deals with an oily nose. We both love the oil and sebum removing power of this device and both are pleased that it isn’t painful or noisy to use.
