Juice Beauty Review

Guest Post by Michelle Miller

I’ve been troubled with acne since my early teens and now into adulthood. It seems like every year there is some new breakthrough product for my breakouts. I’ve tried them all. Each time I go in hopeful that it will be the miracle product, but then I end up having a two week span where I don’t want to leave my home because my skin has gotten worse, gotten so dry I cannot wear make-up, or is so sensitive and or painful that I appear to have a sunburn.

One of my biggest worries is the chemical components of these products. Did you know that one of the long leading acne industry leader’s products contain fillers found in deodorant, animal fats, as well as moderate to high health hazardous ingredients that can lead to a wide variety of cancers. And that is only the first 3 ingredients listed out of 20+!

So I was on a mission to find something that worked that wouldn’t literally kill me in the long run. I discovered Juice Beauty and had tried their lip glosses and wondered if their skin care was equally fabulous. All in all, it is amazing! They have a starter kit that I purchased first as a trial called Organics to Clear Skin. It contains 4 products: Cleansing gel, Blemish clearing serum, Oil free moisturizer, and Green Apple peel.

The first thing I noticed was the smell. It didn’t give off the impression that I was applying bleach to my face. The cleanser reminds me of reduced apple juice in aroma, color and consistency. It contains a variety of natural fruit juices and vitamins. Next step in this kit is the Blemish Clearing Serum which in appearance is quite similar to the cleanser. Not only are the ingredients refreshing: green tea, willow bark extract, natural fruit extracts, etc they don’t physically hurt your skin AND they are cruelty free and vegan! By adding the Milky Oil-Free Moisturizer containing aloe and you don’t have to worry about your skin drying out and or getting worse before you started this new system.

I found that the Green Apple Peel is nice to wear in the shower for a few minutes then rinse off once or twice a week. Another tip is that you can use the Blemish Clearing Serum as a spot treatment. You will still break out from time to time as these products cannot control your hormones; however, at least you know you are not damaging your skin or your body using products containing chemicals that you cannot pronounce.

I just ordered this kit from their website. I tried using LUSH skincare, but all of the moisturizers I tried made me break out in painful zits/small boils. I'm hopeful that Juice Beauty can clear my skin up and reduce redness.

I'm going to be on the lookout for this starter kit of which you speak. I've used samples of Juice Beauty I've garnered from Sephora and liked the cleanser well enough; your skin sounds much like my own and I'd be very interested in trying the line. Thanks, Michelle.

I'm intrigued. I went to a derm for 3 years and used 5 different medications for my skin. I was still breaking out some, so she wanted me to try Accutane. I didn't want to risk and permanent side-effects (eye dryness or organ damage) so I said no.
I stopped using and taking everything about 2 years ago. I'm breaking out more than I was a year ago now…and I was debating trying Proactive again.
I think I'll check this kit out. Since willow bark is a natural form (derived from? not sure) or salicylic acid and I seem to break out more from s.a. I'm a little wary.
If there was a money back or a small trial sized kit, I'd be enticed more. 🙂

I think Pro Active has its competition. well i guess at this day and age the market has evolved to produce more better goods for the consumers. http://mhlnk.com/32A1DFF3

I have been using Organics To Clear Skin for a couple of months and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I love how Juice Beauty products are organic and keep my skin hydrated because I hated how other products were filled with chemicals and dried out my skin! My skin has really cleared up and has never looked or felt better!

I’ve been on a mad hunt for non-chemical sunscreens for years now. I came across Juice Beauty about a year ago and have been using their collection ever since.
