Jen’s Going Blonde!

I love being a brunette, but I figured I should try being a blonde at least ONCE in my life! My good friend, Patricia Lynn Laas, is helping me transition to dark brunette to light blonde! My first step was already pretty major. She also gave me an amazing blow out! (I tried to get her to move in with me so she can do my hair every day, but she has this “family” that she seems to want to live with – so weird!) 🙂

Patricia used It&Ly hair color (cruelty free – made in Italy) to weave in two different shades of blonde. She then put a toner over it to keep it from looking brassy. In about 6 weeks or so, I’ll go back to lighten it up even more!

I’m still getting used to it, but I think I’m going to like it a lot. I am already experimenting with different makeup shades, and recently got a spray tan at Infinity Sun, so that definitely changes the look!

Ideally, I want a color that goes with my natural, pale skin and dark eyebrows. Hopefully that will be enough contrast to keep me from looking washed out.
