“With an education in chemistry, I had made natural soap for my children in previous years. I knew the value of lipoproteins and specific enzymes, and began making soap for my husband’s skin condition. He had been to a dermatologist for cracking, peeling, splitting skin on his hands and fingers. Prescriptions kept the condition tolerable but it would not go away. So after 30 days of using our goat milk soap, Steve’s skin condition cleared and has never returned.”

I’m confused on this being Leaping Bunny certified. How is it humane, when I’m, assuming that goats would need to become pregnant and give birth to produce milk? What happens to the babies, particularly the males?
Oh, that pumpkin pie one probably smells heavenly and the way it would make my skin super soft, that’s the one for me.

Hi Muriel – this is a small goat farm in Ohio owned by a husband and wife team. They are Certified Humane and take very good care of their babies! Obviously, the goat’s milk products are not vegan, but they are cruelty-free and certified by Leaping Bunny. They do not test on animals or use ingredients that have been tested on animals. They don’t sell in places that require animal testing.

Products look great and it’s nice to see that you took the time and money necessary to be Certified Humane. Most folks don’t have the time to research a business and a third-party certification provides a lot of assurance. I’m not a fan of Pumpkin Spice but my wife and daughter are.
