Homemade Goodies

in Body on 04/04/10

Hello Dear Readers,

I have another “find” to share with you. A few days ago I was sent a nice gift basket (yeah, blogging for you guys is hard work). This gift basket consists of all-natural homemade products by Vanessa Key. Vanessa, along with making jewelry, soaps, and bath balls, is also a certified massage therapist and licensed esthetician. (Yes, for you dear readers, I splurged on a massage and can tell you she is worth every penny. One of the best – and she comes to you!)

But back to the gift baskets: She makes custom gift baskets for every occasion. Mine included: a beautifully wrapped bath ball, hemp soap, some sage and a smudge bowl made from a shell, a complete nail kit, hemp lotion, perfumed soaps, and a few homemade candles as well. (She puts her own charms she creates into the candles. Usually it is a lovely necklace. Once you burn the candle down, the surprise can be easily removed.)

The bath ball was lovely and made the water feel silky. The soaps are great and it’s nice to know that Vanessa herself makes them. Her products were top quality and I will certainly use her again to spoil my friends for their birthdays. She also offers gift certificates for massages and facials. If you’d like to reach her, please email her at rockyter@aol.com.
