Gabriel Cosmetics Meritage Lipstick – Gorgeous Merlot Color!

If you don’t know Gabriel, allow me to introduce you. Gabriel Cosmetics is an all-natural, gluten free, USA made cosmetics line. If you’ve heard of Zuzu Luxe, that’s also a Gabriel line, as well as Clean Kids Naturally. I recommend trying any or all of these lines, although I tend to gravitate mostly toward Gabriel Colors.

Alright, lets get to the real reason why I’m writing this—Yep, that’s right, I’m talking about that gorgeous lipstick pictured above. Isn’t she a beaut?! I was beyond excited to try my Meritage lipstick, which was personally handed to me by Gabriel himself {shriek!}

I had been searching for a great deep plumb/merlot colored lipstick and the Meritage was the perfect match. Not only does it pair nicely with the other colors of Gabriel’s Fall Line, which is easily used for a bold and beautiful burlesque look, but it also works as a ‘going out’ lipstick or a casual ‘just grabbing some coffee with a friend’ lipstick. I quickly dubbed this lipstick a staple to all of my dramatic looks—And I haven’t looked back!

The lipstick lasted 6 hours—I’m not kidding! I put it on around three in the afternoon for this fun photo, as well as some other #selfies I took (obvi.) and it lasted til about 9pm, after I had casually sipped a cocktail. Even when it started fading, it was consistently an even application. I was honestly impressed of the lasting color!

I’ll definitely recommend the Meritage color to anyone who’s looking for a sophisticated look. Not to mention, this color is exceptionally great for fall and winter.

If you still think this color just wont suit your style, you should definitely see their color selection. They have so many beautiful options, there’s bound to be a perfect one for you.
