Thursdays with Cheeky Rox: Fig + Yarrow Complexion Water Review
Lately, my skin has been going crazy. I’ve been getting dry, irritated patches all over my (usually) combination-oily skin. I have to admit it’s been hard for me to find hydrating products that calm down the inflammation/dryness while also controlling my oily spots. While looking for a product that would balance and soothe my skin – I came across the Complexion Water from Fig + Yarrow. Fig + Yarrow is a cruelty free skincare brand that specializes in hand-crafted organic products. They use a lot of botanicals and herbs that make the artisan skincare line very pure and therapeutic.
The Complexion Water is a hydrating mist with reparative and toning properties. It’s available in two different aromatherapeutic blends but I have the Rose/Sandalwood/Neroli blend. This blend is perfect for calming my skin down and it smells amazing! The sandalwood helps to tone, soothe and hydrate my skin. Rose extracts are an antioxidant-rich ingredient that help to rejuvenate my skin. The neroli adds a beautiful aroma to this blend, plus it has regenerative properties and anti-aging benefits. The best thing about the Fig + Yarrow Complexion Water is that it truly does balance my skin – whatever craziness I’m going through at the time!
I love the Complexion Water so much – I’ve been using it all over my face, hair and body! I spray a light layer of the Complexion Water onto my face after cleansing because it’s a great all-natural toner! I’ve also been using it on the ends of my hair when they start to feel dry and damaged. It’s amazing because it really does rejuvenate my hair without making it feel greasy or weighed down! Sometimes I’ll even spritz a bit all over my face and body throughout the day if I’m feeling stressed – the therapeutic scent seems to reenergize me and get me going again!
As you can tell, I’m a huge fan of the Fig + Yarrow Complexion Water! It’s an amazing cruelty free product that I just can’t live without now!
