YBF Skincare Private Reserve Energy Blend Review

in Dry Skin, Skin on 04/17/13

This is a post from contributing blogger Roxanne Holland.

I live in Southern California and have the ability to be surrounded by beautiful flowers and greenery year round, however I still love taking a visit to a nursery or garden center store. When I walk into these places my senses are overwhelmed with the color and especially the aroma. Fresh cut flowers, rich soil and fragrances… all the aromas coming from newly budded blooms. To find that experience duplicated in a skincare product was a welcome delight.

I was asked to sample and review the Private Reserve Antioxidant Oil, Energy Blend from Your Best Face Skincare. I have been using the nourishing oil once daily, after showering. It is recommended to use a few drops and gently massage into damp skin. I made sure to wait 15 minutes for the nourishing oils to absorb completely before applying any additional day cream or makeup. The oil goes on smoothly and creates a protective barrier that does not leave skin feeling greasy. My makeup went on flawlessly and stayed on all day long without needing to be refreshed or reapplied. Quite simply, this treatment oil makes my face feel nourished, smooth and protected from those pesky free radicals lurking around every corner.

The masterfully created blend was formulated after years of research and countless hours of perfecting the best formulation to help restore suppleness, tone and elasticity to skin while providing a layer of protective antioxidants. Working together, co-founders of YBF-Skincare, Darrell Owens and Kimberley Fristed developed a simple every day solution using a few effective ingredients including Meadowfoam Seed Oil which helps lock moisture into skin, antioxidants Skin Trap which restores balance to unstable skin molecules to protect against cell damage and Lipochroman-6 to combat against the two major types of harmful free radicals that age skin. Vitamin E Succinate is another key ingredient that helps keep pollutants and toxins at bay while moisturizing skin.

And the smell, WOW! It is simply a delightful and invigorating party for the senses in a crisp, awakening blending of Yuzu, Juniper, Vetiver, Black Cumin Seed, and Rosewood.

NOTE: Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun when using this product.

Available through TruthInAging.Com and other select retailers.

    Hi,
Do you recommend using high SPF when going out to prevent extra exposure to the sun?

According to the American Melanoma Foundation you should wear a MINIMUM sunscreen with an SPF 15. If you are fair-skinned, you should opt for a higher SPF. It is also advisable to wear sunscreen year-round. Not just in the summer months. http://www.melanomafoundation.org/prevention/facts.htm
