FabFitFun Summer 2018 Unboxing!
I always get SO excited when I see the FabFitFun subscription box outside my door! I swear – it’s like Christmas every time. It’s one of my favorite sub boxes because they give you a ton of high quality products you’ll actually use, and it’s a mix of makeup, skincare, fitness, style, and lifestyle items. The FabFitFun boxes are sent seasonally and each one has at least $200 worth of goodies for $49.99. The 2018 FabFitFun Summer box is a GOOD one (valued at $321.99 – $367.99 depending on which options you get)! Read on to see what’s in the summer box!
Foreo Luna Fofo ($89) – Let’s start with the most expensive item of the bunch – the Foreo Luna Fofo. It’s brand new and they are launching it exclusively with FabFitFun. You may be familiar with Foreo’s sonic cleansing devices, but this one has some cool new features. There’s an app you can download, and the device actually senses and measures the moisture levels in each zone of your face to create a personalized skin profile sent to the app via Bluetooth. I don’t know if this is all hype or something magical yet, because I haven’t had a chance to try it. But even if you don’t utilize the app (which goes live on June 4th), you still get 8,000 pulsations per minute for a deep, yet gentle clean. Plus, the non-porous silicone bristles won’t accumulate bacteria. Just keep it clean and dry when you’re not using it. I’m excited to try it!
Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel ($45) – We’ve reviewed luxe, cruelty free British brand, Elemis before on My Beauty Bunny. But, I haven’t tried this Papaya Enzyme Peel yet. It’s a creamy mask-like exfoliator that contains milk protein, algae, papain (papaya enzyme), pineapple, Vitamin E, niacinimide, safflower, and sunflower seed oil. Because of the ingredients, I’d say this is best for all skin types except acne-prone. Just apply it to clean, dry skin, then leave it on for 10-15 minutes and rinse.
Maji Sports Loop Resistance Band ($15) – Yay – I love getting fitness products in my subscription boxes! This fitness band is small, cute and perfect to work out your abs, biceps, legs and back muscles at home (or on vacation if you’re so inclined). I’ll be using this on days when I can’t get to the gym.
COOLA Sport Classic Sunscreen SPF 50 ($32) – I love COOLA products, and I’m happy to see the COOLA Sport sunscreen included in this season’s FabFitFun summer box. This is a vegan, GMO-free, gluten-free, broad spectrum, chemical sunscreen made with 70% organic ingredients. It’s water resistant (up to 80 minutes), which makes it perfect for the beach or pool, or to wear while working out. It has a light “white tea” scent that smells nice, but may be too much if you’re prone to migraines or are very sensitive to scents. It’s non-greasy, and doesn’t leave a white cast. It’s also a TSA approved size (1.7 oz) so great for travel.
Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel ($39) – This rosemary, black pepper, ginger and lavender muscle gel smells amazing, and has a wonderful cooling feel – perfect for a hot day, or to use after a strenuous workout. I get migraines and back pain, so this stuff is wonderful. It’s a light cooling – not Icy Hot level (for that I use Yuni Beauty Chillax), but it’s really nice to spread all over on achey legs, arms or back. You don’t have to wash your hands after you apply it like you would with a stronger cooling gel. It’s super relaxing and spa-like – perfect for the end of a long, hot summer day.
Tarte Tarteist Pro to Go Palette and Sex Kitten Liquid Liner ($43) – These are two of my FAVORITES in the 2018 FabFitFun Summer Subscription Box! As you guys may know, I’m a huge Tarte fan, and Tarte’s liquid liners are the ONLY ones that don’t run on my hooded, oily lids. The Sex Kitten eyeliner is waterproof and the perfect shape for a cat eye (and how cute is the kitty on the cap?). The Tarteist Pro to Go Palette has three matte and three metallic shades – are very wearable – particularly for warmer skin tones. It’s a small, travel-friendly palette that I think I’ll get a lot of use out of (no weird throw-away shades here)!
Pier 1 Imports Marble Ring Dish ($14.99) – I haven’t been to Pier 1 Imports in forever (I used to shop there a lot when I was in college), but this adorable marble dish is making think I’m way overdue for a shopping trip! I’m obsessed with marble, and yes, I know it’s trendy, but I’m just in love with the clean aesthetic of white marble. This gold-rimmed trinket dish is perfect for jewelry, keys or loose change. I predict mine will make its way into many Instagram photos as well!
Summer & Rose Make Your Own Sunshine Beach Towel ($55) – FabFitFun collaborated with model and blogger, Rocky Barnes, to create these bright and beautiful microfiber towels. They are oversized and super comfy. Perfect for my next beach vacay!

Wow. FFF boxes seem to have come a long way. I cancelled my subscription 3 years ago because the content wasn’t that great, but this one looks great.

There’s so many goodies in the box that it’s hard to pick one, but I’d really love to try the Aromatherapy DeStress Gel.
I have been seeing and wanting the Foreo Luna Fofo. But that is a lot of money so I just use my silicon face scrubber from walmart for about $3 for 2. 🙁

I’ve never had a FFF box but I’ve always wanted one. All of the products look great but I’m super excited for the Tarte things. Tarte is one of my favorite brands. Plus, I have the oily lid problem too. Great giveaway!
