I do volunteer work for an amazing animal rescue organization called L.A. Love & Leashes. They work with Los Angeles animal services to get more cats and dogs adopted. The concept is awesome. It’s basically a pet store where animals from the shelter can be shown to potential adopters in a non-scary, non-shelter environment. The money from the pet supplies sold goes back into the nonprofit so they can adopt out more pets.
They are celebrating their 1-year anniversary on December 3rd and they will have a very special guest – Betty White! She has very nicely agreed to pose for photos and sign autographs for 5 lucky event attendees. LA Love & Leashes is going to raffle off 4 of those slots to earn donations to help the store, and they are going to have a contest for one spot on Facebook!
