Ellison’s Organics Nail Polish Review
Okay, let me be honest here, I’m not much of a nail polish lover. I love the idea of it and I think it looks great on other people, but for me, it’s just a lot of work and I’m slightly lazy.
But when I received Ellison’s Organics cruelty free nail polish from the Summer Soiree event, I loved the color so much I knew I had to give it a try. (Not to mention, the actually name of this nail polish is Cast Your Care-ibbeans Away – how cute is that?!)
When I put on the polish it was the same color the bottle indicated, a beautiful light blue color. It’s the same color of those beautiful beach vacation pictures – you know, the ones that bring you to a place where you no longer have a care in the world.
I applied two coats of the color – I didn’t even bother with a top coat (because as I said before, I get a little impatient.) As you can tell from the picture, those two coats provided a perfect display of the color. It also has a nice glossy finish. The color alone lasted five days without chipping! With a top coat, I am confident it would last longer than two weeks.
One thing I noticed about this polish is that you really need to shake it up before applying. I don’t know if that is because it’s an organic polish or what, but it definitely goes on a lot easier if you give it a good shake around.
Speaking of organic, this nail polish is also 3-free, meaning it’s free from formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP. It’s also gluten free, paraben free and bpa free. AND it’s vegan! There are so many reasons to buy this polish!
P.S. After I used the ‘Cast Your Care-ibbeans Away,’ I went and checked out the other colors Ellison’s Organics offers. I strongly suggest you check out the colors of their Dr. Who Collection. They are amazing!
