When you purchase any of the three of Dr. Mandel’s hair care products, 100% of the proceeds support the nonprofit F.A.C.E., which is a scholarship fund that helps to send needy students to college.

The serum can be used to repair all types of women’s hair: frizzy, dry, thin, dull, thick, curly or straight, and split ends. The serum may be safely used on all hair colors.
After using Dr. Mandel’s Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Conditioner (which was provided for the previous review), I experimented by using the serum on both my wet and dry hair. In each case, I needed only a very small amount of the serum to achieve a lovely shine, and add texture and fullness to my hair. It also was helpful to tame some loose pieces that were “fly-away” due to the humid weather. My hair was also very soft, which I attribute to my use of Dr. Mandel’s whole range of products (shampoo, conditioner and serum).
An added benefit of the serum is that it protects hair from heat as well as the sun’s rays.
Directions: Simply place a small amount of the white-colored serum (which dries without adding color) into the palm of your hand and apply starting from to your scalp to the ends of your hair. Not only is the serum a great product, but it’s nice to know that when people buy it, and/or, any of Dr. Mandel’s products, one hundred percent of the profits go to the F.A.C.E. Scholarship fund, helping to send needy students to college.
