If you could design your own makeup line what would it include

Question of the Week: If you got to design a makeup collection, what would be the signature piece?

Ohhhh if I could design my own makeup collection, it would be 100% cruelty free and vegan of course. I would want to focus on making shades for everyone. So even though I love warm peachy pinks (and there would be plenty of those), I’d also make sure there are cool tones and bold primary colors. I would need a black eyeliner that doesn’t run (so far the only one I’ve found that doesn’t budge is from Tarte!). And I would want a HUGE foundation shade range from the palest to the darkest colors with lots of tone options (easier said than done right?). I wouldn’t want to use cheap or unsafe ingredients, so the price point would probably be in the Tarte, Too Faced, UD range. But not crazy high. Okay – who’s ready to fund my new My Beauty Bunny line of cosmetics? LOL!

Here’s what the Lipstick League has been posting during the last week. Please note that not all Lipstick League posts are cruelty free.

Blushing Noir – Secret Santa Gift Exchanges got you down? NO WORRIES. These gift ideas are all perfect picks for any beauty lover, PLUS they’re all under $15!

EauMG – I wasn’t even looking for a vanilla perfume; yet, here I am totally OBSESSED with this vanilla-cardamom perfume by French brand, Atelier des Ors.

Gouldylox – Skincare is confusing. Find out what actually works (and how to get a great neck) from legendary skincare guru, Jan Marini.

My Beauty Bunny – is sharing the ultimate cruelty free holiday gift guide; lots of photos for shopping inspiration!

Phyrra – Here’s everything you need to know about how to apply loose pigments to the eyes and face!

Prime Beauty – The holidays can be stressful, put some romance back in your life with my giveaway! Win the steamy novel The VIP Doubles Down from award-winning author Nancy Herkness, PLUS a trio of beautiful liquid lipsticks from Highlight Cosmetics for smooching.

we heart this – what Bye Bye Redness does for flushed skin, IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Breakouts does for acne. And they’re both entirely life changing!

Beautygeeks – checking a list of cozy scents for colder weather, for anyone whose favourite season is Sweater.

Blushing Noir is Currently Craving: I haven’t felt the need for anything Tom Ford in quite a while, but these new Private Shadows have me drooling… especially Smoked Opaline!
