Dermalogica Breakout Clearing Cooling Masque
This Dermalogica Clear Start Cooling Masque falls nothing short but amazing! Even the packaging caught my attention. When seeing this product, I had an immediate pull and wanted to use this product. That’s exactly what I did that night when I got home!
Usually, I don’t like using face products not in my shower. I’m a lot taller than my sink so even if I bend over to try to wash my face, it goes all over my sink area and on the floor. That’s why I find it easier just to do all my acne stuff in the shower. However, with this product you need to leave it on your face from seven to ten minutes. Another thing my generation and me hate to do, waiting. However, I stuck with it because I really wanted to see if it would work or not.
Before the water show, I moved everything away from the sink (basically my iPhone). I washed my face with warm water and applied the product. I put a pea size amount on my finger and started rubbing a smooth thin layer over my skin. I was pleasantly surprised at how much a pea sized amount could cover. With two to three droplets, I covered all of my neck. However, the smell could be worked on but I believe it’s from the licorice extract that soothes your skin. Also, to my surprise, it wasn’t cold. I was expecting for it to give me a cold sensation but it had not. Which I was super glad about because I hate it when I feel like my face is turning into ice. On a side note, if you did want to get that cooling aspect, try putting it in your fridge five minutes before rubbing it onto your face. Eight minutes passed as I was surfing Facebook and I jumped into the shower. It came off super easy and I had to put in little to no effort to wash it off my face.
The next morning, I definitely felt a difference. My skin was a lot smoother and softer than it was before. However, my blemishes and acne had not really changed. A week had gone by and I had used the product two more times. I definitely saw a difference after using it three times! Not only did my skin feel smooth, my skin felt clear and my redness had died down! I was a bit shocked at this result because it did so much good to my skin. I even had people complementing and telling me how my skin was a lot softer now. Overall, a miracle had happened and my skin had front row seats to the spectacle!
