This is such a cool new product! It’s one of those “why didn’t someone think of this before” things. It’s called Clarsskin and it is made to remove deodorant and antiperspirant residue.
Okay, so no one likes to talk about this, but I KNOW I’m not the only one who has to scrub the heck out of my underarms before shaving. If you wear deodorant (and I hope you do), you know what I’m talking about.
Deodorants and antiperspirants leave metal salts behind that can clog your pores, clog your razor and leave yellow stains on your clothes. This product is simply amazing. You only need to rub it in (no need to scrub with the poufy thing) and the deodorant comes right off. You can even use it to replace your shave gel. It works for men and women of course, whether you shave or not, so guys can use it to get super clean.
I even brought this with me on my recent trip abroad because it’s much easier to pack than a pouf, a bottle of shaving cream and a bottle of body wash!
As an added bonus, it smells wonderful! It smells a lot like Aveda products – that earthy, essential oil scent. (There’s also a fragrance-free version if you don’t like scented products.)
It costs $22 for 4 oz. so it’s not super cheap, but you only need a little bit. The website recommends a dime-sized amount, and it supposedly lasts for a year. Even if it only lasted for 6 months, I’d call it a great deal. You also get the cost savings of buying fewer razors and throwing away fewer t-shirts!
