Sonas Denim Jeans Review.

I have been excited to write this post over the past two weeks because when you find something you love, you’ve gotta share it with the world! You know that rare occasion when you put something new on and you think to yourself, damn…this looks GOOD! I had one of those moments after slipping into some Sonas Denim and not gonna lie, admired myself in the mirror for a bit.

Sonas Denim is a cruelty-free, vegan clothing line that specializes in denim. Apart from creating new ways to look fabulous, Sonas Denim also dedicates 10% of their profits to animal welfare and are planning to build a new animal sanctuary in California! This comes as no surprise as one of the founders of the line, Christine has a fifteen year history of being a animal rights attorney and activist. Together, Gerry (the man behind the denim designs) and Christine set out to create a brand that gives back to the animals while keeping you stylish.

I was sent a pair of the Pacific Skinnys to review and I instantly fell in love. Which is crazy because I need to let you in on a little secret. I never have worn skinnys in my life ever! Want know why? Because after trying on what feels like 500 pairs of different brands over the years I never liked the way they looked on me. I always loved how my friends could rock skinny jeans but I always felt with my shorter, athletic legs it just didn’t look right to me. So for a single random pair to be sent to me and finally feel dare I say it, sexy? I was elated.  I immediately put on my black stiletto heels and modeled for my fiance who was downstairs. He agreed. These jeans were hot. And we needed to make a date so I could wear them out somewhere!

The Pacific Skinnys have a panel of vegan leather on the thigh that just gives the denim a bit more edge. The rest of the pants are in a soft stretch material that hugs curves in all the right places.  The do come in a longer length than I needed but was able to discretely fold under the hems (by about 3 inches, lol) to get a nice ankle length look.  I will definitely be getting these hemmed so I don’t have to do anymore folding.

Sonas Denim features several styles in different colors, accents and patterns on their website.
