COUI Skincare Review by popular Los Angeles beauty blogger My Beauty Bunny

COUI Skincare Review by Cruelty Free Beauty Blogger, My Beauty Bunny

COUI Skincare (pronounced “see wii”) is a high performance, Leaping Bunny certified, cruelty free skincare brand created by biochemist, Dr Sivak. COUI has products for every skin type. I tried the Nourishing Cleansing Oil, Vitamin C Serum and UV Facial SPF 30 lotion.

COUI Skincare Nourishing Cleansing Oil Review by popular Los Angeles beauty blogger My Beauty Bunny

Let’s start with the Nourishing Cleansing Oil. If you have normal to dry skin, you can use this as your sole cleanser. Since I have acneic, combination skin, I like to use oils as a pre-cleanse. I normally apply a few pumps to dry skin and then add water, but this oil blend works best when mixed with water from the get-go. It emulsifies nicely when mixed with water, and my face is left feeling clean and neither tight nor greasy. It is perfect for removing dirt, oil and makeup – ESPECIALLY that long wear makeup that we’re all using in the summer! It’s also great at removing long-wear liquid lipsticks. It’s made with castor seed oil, sweet almond oil, pomegranate seed oil, rosehip seed oil, Vitamin D and antioxidants (astaxanthin, lycopene, beta carotene) to cleanse, hydrate and protect your skin. The ingredient list is fairly simple and there are no unnecessary fillers or weird additives.

COUI Skincare Vitamin C Serum Review by popular Los Angeles beauty blogger My Beauty Bunny

Vitamin C is such an important anti-aging skincare ingredient, and I’m sad that I can’t use it because I’m allergic. I still want to share products like this with you guys since I’m assuming most of you AREN’T allergic, so I tested this on my fiancé, Gregg. His skin drank up the COUI Vitamin C Serum and looked glowy and amazing! Vitamin C helps to create new collagen, restore elasticity and of course, it’s an antioxidant. It also has some natural exfoliant properties. This serum has a 20% Vitamin C concentration, which is very powerful. The pH level is low – between 1.5 and 2. The low pH stabilizes the ascorbic acid, reducing oxidation and extending the lifespan of the serum. The acidity also improves the exfoliating effect. The serum is also formulated with hyaluronic acid, ferulic acid, pomegranate seed oil, Vitamin E, astaxanthin, lycopene, and other antioxidants.

COUI Skincare UV Facial SPF 30 Review by popular Los Angeles beauty blogger My Beauty Bunny

Want to keep that skin looking as young as possible for as long as possible? Then you’d better be using sunscreen EVERY DAY! If you’re using exfoliating or strong anti-aging skincare products, then you need to be even more vigilant about sunscreen or your skin will get worse! The COUI UV Facial with SPF 30 makes it quick and easy to protect your skin because it’s a moisturizer, brightener and sunscreen in one. You can actually use it on your face and body! It’s got full spectrum UVA and UVB protection, along with green tea, ginkgo biloba, licorice (great for brightening) and ginseng. Also for my veg fans, please note that this product does have hydrolyzed collagen.

Want to save some money? I have COUI discount codes for ya! Save 11% when you use code BEAUTYBN on Amazon or MYBEAUTYBUNNY on the COUI website.

I’ve been using COUI Super C Serum for years, but till I read your review, I never knew how to pronounce their name!

The cleansing oil and Vitamin C serum sound nice. I love Vitamin C and feed it to my skin, regularly. Sadly, the sunscreen has chemical screens in it so it’s a no go for me.

I hadn’t heard of the brand until now. I like the sound of it. I don’t think I’m sensitive to chemical sunscreen so that might be a good one for me.

I’ve never heard of this brand before, but I like their packaging aesthetic.
