It Cosmetics Confidence In A Cleanser review by my beauty bunnyThe Only Cleanser You’ll Ever Need

**please note this cleanser contains hydrolyzed collagen**

Since we’re still in the thick of Summer I’ve needed a good cleanser that I can use multiple times a day without destroying my skin in the process. On any given day I will need to wash my face 3-4 times due to the schedule I keep, so whatever I’m using needs to be gentle, while still being effective. I recently got my hands on the IT Cosmetics Confidence In A Cleanser and haven’t used another cleanser since.

I should preface this review that I have mid-thirties combo, slightly sensitive skin. Which means I need something that has anti-aging benefits, and keeps my skin moisturized without breaking me out. Lucky for me the Confidence In A Cleanser is suitable for all skin types — even those who may fear this can exacerbate acne. It’s also noted that it’s OK for sensitive skin types too with it’s soap and sulfate-free formula.

It Cosmetics Confidence In A Cleanser review by my beauty bunnyThis cleanser is actually described as a serum and it does have that thick milky gel texture to it. It has the proprietary Anti-aging Armour Concentrate to moisturize skin, along with a super ceramide complex, plus collagen, hyaluronic acid and colloidal oatmeal to soothe, hydrate and restore the skin.

I found that this cleanser did a great job of removing dirt and sweat while dissolving makeup with no trouble. A lot of times a cleanser will get rid of all traces of foundation but mascara and eyeliner will hold on tight. No need to double cleanse (unless you just like to) when you use this cleanser. It feels good to use morning and night and follow with your favorite skincare products. It doesn’t have any means of exfoliation chemically or physically so you’ll need to follow with a good scrub if you need frequent exfoliation.

It Cosmetics Confidence In A Cleanser review by my beauty bunnyNever once did this cleanser make my skin feel tight, dried out or cause any redness. It also didn’t make my face turn beet red in my morning bootcamp class that previous cleansers have done in the past. It always rinses off easily to reveal skin that is soft, smooth and comfortable.

I would love to pair this with the Confidence In A Cream product because I’ve used it in the past and it’s a phenomenal moisturizer. The two together would be awesome. I’d love to pair it with a lot of their skincare because I really do love this brand entirely. I’ve never been disappointed with a IT Cosmetics product and look forward to the many more things that have on my “to try list”.

You can pick up this cleanser off their website or at ULTA. To find out more about IT Cosmetics you can visit them on facebook or Instagram.

I love that this cleanser has ceramides in it. I experience menopause this year and have found that I can’t use the same products I used to. So this one sounds like a good one!
