How Merlot Can You Go

My #NOTD (Nails of the Day) today is the amazing “How Merlot Can You Go?” by Chrome Girl. A gorgeous vampy color from their Fall/Winter collection 2014. I painted my nails in the light of the TV while my fiance was watching a movie, so please forgive any imperfections! But for a color this dark, done in minimal light, I think they look pretty good! My schedule has been crazy lately and I needed some nail polish STAT. It dried quickly, and the top coat gave it an amazing shine. Wouldn’t this color make a great lipstick too?

I topped it with their Gel Like Top Coat. It’s not actually a gel, but it makes you look like you’re wearing gels! It does NOT need to be soaked with acetone and scraped off like gels (shudder!). It just looks like a gel and helps the polish last. I really love all of these thick, but never clumpy polishes – they could be worn with one coat, but I usually two (in case I miss any spots!).

Chrome Girl nail polish is cruelty free, vegan and free of all the toxic chemicals you don’t want near your skin. You will love these – completely worth the price!
