Cheeky Rox Wet N Wild Holiday Makeup Tutorial

in Budget, Cheeky Rox, Makeup on 12/11/14

Hi everyone! Roxette Arisa here!

If you’re looking for some affordable cruelty-free makeup to create some holiday looks this season, you’ve come to the right place! Wet N Wild is one of the leading cruelty-free drugstore brands because of their wide range of products and unsurpassed prices. Today we’ll be creating a holiday makeup look using Wet N Wild Products. Check out the video of my holiday makeup tutorial and let me know what you think!

I used the Art in the Streets Palette for the base of the eye look. This palette may look intimidating at first, but the bright colors are surprisingly easy to blend. The shadows apply smoothly and their blending capabilities make them more wearable than you would think on first glance. Next to add some dimension to the eye look, I used the Wet N Wild I’m Getting Sunburned Palette. I love the eyelid and crease colors in this palette. They added just the right amount of shimmer and shadowing. These bronzed shades are highly pigmented and easy to apply.

To amp up the sparkle of the look, I used the Wet n Wild Color Icon Glitter Singles in Spiked and Brass. These sparkle shadows are in a gel formula so make sure to apply them sparingly! I used the Wet N Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner in Black to create a thin cat eye that really pulled the look together. This liquid liner is super easy to apply because of the thin applicator. You can stick with a thin line or build it up to create a nice bold line.

The Wet N Wild Mega Impact Mascara creates voluminous lashes without clumping much. It has a dry formula that doesn’t take long to set. For lips, I used the Wet N Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Stoplight red and paired it with the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss in Sinless. The combination of the matte red lipstick with the shiny gloss created a voluminous effect and stayed on my lips for ages! Perfect for all the eating and drinking you’ll be doing at any holiday parties 😉 I love the whole look – the glittery eyes paired with a classic red lip just screams “Holidays!” to me!
