Bstrd Minuit Gemstone Necklace

Naughty, sassy, bold, and beautiful are the words I would use to describe bstrd. The bstrd brand is a Canadian quality handmade jewelry line.

This jewelry line is run by Andre and Tianna Bastien. Andre is a graduate in the arts such as watercolors, sculpting, drawing, animation and others. Tianna helps take Andre’s art and turns it into unique fashion elements—AKA bstrd jewelry.

These two are dominating the fashion industry by having their custom jewelry line shopped for on Hollywood television shows such as True Blood, Pretty Little Liars, and Nashville. Bstrd even created Nicki Minaj a custom jewelry piece! However, bstrd stays humble by believing in balance, moderation, creating, sharing, and relying on their mantra: imagine you didn’t? Which is also their instagram handle @imagineyoudidnt where they have fun fashion photos.

When shopping on their site www.bstrd.com, it was really hard for me to decide what signature piece I wanted! All the gypsy, earthy, free-spirited accessories are just what I love!

I ended up deciding on The Minuit Necklace in Silver. It was love at first sight.

The long, clasp-less chain made it easy to slide over my head for my added last minute style. The chain was also multi-colored (starting with a regular petite chain and connecting to a dark and glittery beaded chain and down into the crescent moon.) This two-toned chain added just an extra touch of uniqueness to the already handmade design. The dark part of the chain is actually made up of hematite stones.

I found pairing the necklace with a solid colored shirt made the necklace stand out the most. Although, I occasionally loved wearing it with my floral romper.

The Minuit Necklace has interesting design, people kept asking me about it! In fact, I was sending pictures of myself to my mom, and instead of commenting on whether she liked my shoes with the outfit I was wearing (which is what I asked her to do), she asked me what necklace I was wearing! So, it’s obviously a noticeably beautiful fashion piece that’s specially handmade! Definitely check out their other designs too because I can almost guarantee it’s going to be a tough decision on what to get.
