The Perfect Summer Bag from Bosom Buddy Bags!
I’m loving my Long Oval Bali bag (with custom snaffle) from Bosom Buddy Bags! It’s so cute for summer! You can choose your bag and choose which accessory you’d like to put on it. I love that they are customizable. They have something for everyone! They come in all shapes and sizes, and they even have beach totes and cosmetic bags.
The Bali Collection bags are woven by master weavers of the Tenganan region, using Ata grass, a vine indigenous to the foothills of volcanoes on the Indonesian Island of Bali. This art form is handed down through the generations and is unique to Indonesia. The bags are not made in a factory, the artists work from home in their villages.
Bags can take up to 4 weeks to complete. The warm golden honey color of the Ata grass develops naturally from slow smoking over fire of coconut husks soaked in honey. Working from their Baltimore studio, the Bosom Buddy Bag design team hand adorn the Balinese ata grass bags with ribbons, jewelry, gold plated findings, natural sea shells and vintage elements. Subtle differences in adornments and ribbons are what makes each Bosom Buddy Bag unique.

Karin Chriss is a nationally recognized, award-winning interior designer with a passion for antiques and an unparalleled reputation for finding and collecting unique and tastefully whimsical accessories.
Andrea Stieff is a floral designer and special event decorator specializing in weddings and magazine styling. She is recognized for her exquisite color sense and attention to detail.
Lizzie Leonard runs the day to day operations of BBB and keeps everyone on track.
It all began 10 years ago when Andrea thought how much fun it would be to adorn a basic straw bag with one of her trademark floral designs.. long time friend Karin came into the studio, got inspired and promptly covered every bag in sight with stunning and unique trims, buttons and ribbons… the rest is history!
