Boost Your Skincare Routine With Serums

in Acne-prone, Combination Skin, Dry Skin, Men, Oily Skin on 06/15/11

cruelty free serums

If you want to kick your skincare routine up a notch, try using a serum before, or mixing it with, your regular moisturizer. Serums are generally light and extremely concentrated. If you have super oily skin, you can even use them alone. Here are my top cruelty free serum picks.

Your Best Face (YBF) Antioxidants Concentrate packs a light, but powerful dose of antioxidants including ferulic acid, Vitamin E, spin trap (an antioxidant that actually increased the effectiveness of other antioxidants), Lipochroman-6 and sodium hyaluronate. Antioxidants help to reverse and prevent sun damage and are great to use after LED light treatments.

Sea Buckthorn Hydrating Serum is a very light product with Dr. Oz’s favorite superfruit, sea buckthorn, algae extract and sodium hyaluronate to moisturize and provide antioxidant protection. This serum protects against environmental damage and naturally stimulates your skin’s collagen production.

Yon-Ka Juvenil is great for oily or acne-prone skin. Use it before or with your moisturizer to absorb oil and kill bacteria that cause breakouts. Ichtiol, calendula, azulene, lime, lavender, rosemary, thyme, cypress and geranium purify without drying.

What are your favorite serums? Tell me in the comments below!
