art-of-organics-glam box 2015 review by my beauty bunnySAMPLE

Clean, Non Toxic Beauty Delivered To Your Door

I am totally in love with getting beauty subscription boxes. There’s the anticipation of it arriving at your doorstep and then unveiling what goodies have been sent to you. It’s a great way to try a variety of items at once without breaking the bank, especially if you are in the middle of trying to convert your beauty stash to a healthier, cruelty-free selection. The Art Of Organics Clean Beauty box blossomed from the idea that all beauty products should be natural, non-toxic and beautifully packaged to create a luxe experience for anyone enjoy.

I received the November Glam Box to try while they actually have two seasonal boxes out, this one, and Luxe box which features more skincare and pampering type products. They actually have a handful of different boxes you can choose from depending on what you are looking for and only costs $58 per month while the value of the box contents remains around $90. If you end up finding something you totally fall in love with, you can purchase the same items from their online shop to continue your obsession after the initial product runs out, or you want to stock up. Also, if you need to skip a month, you can…but I’d suspect you wouldn’t want to with this box!

The November Glam Box contains 5 different full sized beauty products to play with, mostly makeup and one makeup remover. The packaging the box arrived in was seriously “under the christmas tree” worthy wrapping with a cloth bow and all. And forget bubble wrap, natural straw was used to gently cradle each product within the box to display each item beautifully. P.S I’ll totally be re-using all the packaging of this box for someone’s gift this year, without a doubt! It’s too good to toss and let go to waste for no reason!

art of organics ilian lipstick crayon dress you up review by my beauty bunny

The first item I was draw to try was the Ilia Lipstick Crayon “Dress You Up”. This mauve-berry toned lip crayon is the perfect color for my lips giving just a kick of color without being too bold.  The 80% bioactive organic blend of sesame, rosehip and papaya oils condition the lips, has a pointed tip to perfectly line the lips first then fill in, leaving you looking absolutely gorgeous.  The product alone retails for $24 and comes in a recyclable aluminum tube like many of the other of the products Ilia makes.

art of organics-au-naturale-eye-pencil coco review by my beauty bunny

Next I tried out the Au Naturale Eye Pencil “Coco”. I usually go for a deep black when I line my eyes but sometimes it’s nice to change things up a bit and go for a softer brown, well in this case, a deep brown which doesn’t appear as BOLD as a pitch black.  The pencil comes with a smudger on the base end so you can create a soft smoky brown look if you like, while the pencil portion glides on with ease. Au naturale forgoes using harsh chemicals in their products making sure that all products are formulated without parabens, preservatives, fragrances, nano-particles or sulfates. This pencil usually retails for $18 alone and comes in six different colors.

art of organics simplicity cosmetics mineral eyeshadow review by my beauty bunny

I’d never heard of Simplicity Cosmetics before, but loves the mineral eyeshadow selection that was sent with the box. This entire line is hand-crafted in small batches and is made free of parabens, nano-articles, cornstarch or dyes. The three colors I got were champagne (light pearl creme with peachy pink undertones), rose gold (metallic rose gold pearl), and cocoa (warm chocolately brown with reddish undertones).  They seriously are three gorgeous colors with champagne being a daily all-over-the-lid color for me.  These are loose pigments so be careful with how much you get on the brush before applying, but blend beautifully and work very well for a three-toned eyeshadow look.   You can even dip your chisel angled eye brush in water and create a fantastic eyeliner with these pigments for a hot holiday eye look.  Simplicity Cosmetics eyeshadows normally run you about $8 each giving us a $24 dollar value in this box.

art of organics LVX Eiffel nail polish review by my beauty bunny

I’ve seen the nail polish brand LVX floating around the internet but have never got my hands on a bottle before this box.  I was super excited to try LVX “Eiffel” which is a metallic, shimmery rosy bronze color that I personally thinks for just about everyone, and hails from their Winter Resort 2015 collection. The 7-free, vegan-friendly formula applied like a dream, no drag, just pure perfection as I had hoped. LVX has a huge assortment of colors that I could seriously go gaga over, but I love that  started out with this color first and have actually worn it two weeks in a row because I love it so much.  LVX polishes retail for $16 each and are well worth the price with their long lasting, easy to apply formulas.

art of organics lilfox botanicals chamolilla infusion makeup review by my beauty bunny

Lastly, I got try give Lilfox Botanicals Chamomile Infusion Makeup Remover.  This black pump glass bottle of cold pressed organic jojoba mixed with lavender, chamomile and frankincense removes even the most toughest eye liners I’ve used recently. Just a couple of drops on the fingers and I gently rub my eyes to break up mascara, liner and shadow. I even go for a few more drops and rub it over my entire face to break down foundation before I wash with a foaming cleanser. Makeup removing oils are seriously the way to go for getting all traces of makeup to disappear and I only wished I had started using them sooner. This anti-inflammatory and skin-healing formula works like a dream and retails for $22 a bottle by itself.

This is one beautiful beauty box you guys. I’d be super excited to see what future months would bring with the way everything is packaged and the quality of the products within the box. To find out more about The Art of Organics you can visit them at their website to see all the cool boxes they offer or shop specific products you see listed above. You can also stay connected with them by following them on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for any updates on future boxes that are planned for the future.
